The sun's light takes 8.33 minutes to reach the earth while the speed of light is 0.3 million kilometers per second.
Sun completes one round of 25 days in 9 hours and 7 minutes.
Sun gives our Earth the heat, strength, light and life etc.
The action of photosynthesis by living beings is not possible without the Sun.

Solar Eclipse - The solar eclipse happens on the day of New moon, but not every new moon happens. The solar eclipse occurs only when the moon moves into the chamber of the earth, it is not always the case that when it happens then the solar eclipse occurs.
During the solar eclipse, the moon enters the earth and the sun. This is why the sun's light does not reach some part of the earth and where the light does not reach, the sun does not appear. This condition is called the solar eclipse.
