Luni River - This river originates from Nag Pahadi, Anasagar Lake, Ajmer. After Ajmer flows through Nagaur and Pali enters in Jodhpur.Luni river is extinct in Rann of Kutch.

 The place of origin of the river Luuni is called Sagrmati.

 From Naag Pahadi to Govindgarh, the river Luuni is also called Sakri river.

 Its water is sweet to Barmatara of Barmer and later becomes Saline.This is why it is called sweet and Saline river
Ganga of the West Desert and Ganges of Marwar are he nickname of the Luni River.

In Jodhpur, Jaswant Sagar Dam is built on the Luni river.

The downstream area of the Luni river in Jalore and Gujarat is called neda.
