  (a) The first generation (1942-1955) - The vaccum tube used in this generation's computer is also called diot.   (d) Fourth Generation (1975-1989) - In this generation, LSI (Large Scale Integration) and VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) were created. A microprocessor computer is called a microcomputer.

  (e) Fifth generation (1989-present) - This generation's computer is creating the ability to think itself, the computer is capable of working in every field. Networks are being built by connecting computers for information sharing in this generation, which is called the Internet in common language. Multimedia is invented in this generation.
