- Computer literally means calculation. Computer is an electronic device that processes data and gives meaningful results, with the help of computer data content is used on a program basis

Data is divided into two parts

 1. Numerical data = It is based on numbers, it is based on several digits from 0 to 9, with which arithmetic action is taken.

 2. Symbolic data = Comparative conclusions are drawn based on the symbols and letters used in it.

1. Abacus is the oldest calculating system in the world, it was invented in China.

2. Differentiation and Analytical - Chalus Babbage invented both of these designs was an analytical switch machine. Chalus Babbage is said to be the father of modern computer science to contribute to the field of computer. In the field of computer, Chalus Babbage established the Institute named CBC.

3. A.B.C. (Atamasoft berry camputer) John Aatansoff and Clifford, a scientist, invented the world's first electronic digital computer in 1939.

4. A company called Mark I-IBM (International Business Computer) invented this first complete mechanical mechanical calculation machine in the world in 1940.

5. UNIVAC-Universal Automatic Computer - This was the first computer used for business purposes. It was invented by the company called GEC (General Electric Corporation).

6. ENIAC-Electronic Numerical Integrator and Calculator This was the first complete electronic computer that was invented by the US J.P. Eckert and John Muchli.

7. EDSAC-Electric Delay Storage Automatic Calculate This was the first stored program computer.
